Root Kids in a Relationship With God

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms.

Spiritual Education: VBS provides an opportunity for children to explore Bible stories, learn about Christian teachings, and know the significance of faith in their everyday lives.

Community Building: VBS fosters a sense of community among participants, encouraging children to form faith-based friendships.

Recreational Activities: VBS combines spiritual learning with fun and engaging indoor and outdoor activities, making the educational experience enjoyable and memorable for children!

FOR CAMPERS: 
How old does my child have to be to participate? 
Children must be entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Fall 2026
Can I participate in more than one week?
With such a high demand, we are only able to allow participation on ONE week.  The program is identical each week.
What is the cost?
We have increased the cost this year to $75 per camper.
 
What does the price include?
The price now includes a t-shirt for every child, plus all snacks, supplies and crafts.  We will no longer be asking for donations for each week’s snack. 
 
FOR VOLUNTEERS:
How old must I be to volunteer?
Volunteers must be high school as of fall 2026 or older.
 
How do I get my service hours?
You must bring your paper on the Monday of your respective week and it will be returned to you on Friday after cleanup.  You can also email vbs@ecrc.us in a timely manner.  
What else is required for me to volunteer?
You must attend a mandatory training, attend a decorating shift, and complete Protecting God’s Children workshop.
